Acrylic ink painting of a blue shimmery sky with a pink "strawberry" moon

One with less hustle.
One with less dehumanizing.
One that embraces natural rhythms of inspiration, rest, incubation, creation, research, down time, space for mental rollercoasters, exploration, gardening, doing things just because, and joy-filled days.

I believe it’s possible.
I believe I can design that for myself.

I’m creating a system.

I’m exploring new ways to engage with my friends, followers, and communities without social media.
Maybe it’s occasional virtual chats.
Maybe it’s letting go of the virtual and embracing the 1:1, in-person, direct community right now.

I believe strongly that many of us feel like we can do something.
And we CAN.

We can engage and have huge impacts with our direct communities, with our literal neighborhoods. We can team up and collaborate with people with shared values and visions.

And we deserve to protect our mental health from the chaos.
We can keep our sanity.
We can maintain our little gardens and do our part.

There’s nothing small about that.
That IS resistance.

I don’t have control over many things.
I don’t have influence over many things.
But I do have this.

I have these ramblings! LOL

I do believe I’m building out something big. It’s not certain what it is just yet, but I’m following my gut - learning how to do this strategically, methodically, and intentionally. My best things have come from that and I’m trusting that.

Want to follow along my system-building journey? Best to sign-up for my newsletter — I’ll share my larger milestones. I’m posting on my blog mostly and less on 3rd party social media sites (hurts my mental health, drains my energy).

Thanks for reading along!
