I’m new to Fall!! Growing up in California, we didn’t really have Fall ahahahha

When I began painting this, I wanted to play with positive and negative space. I used tape to block out the birch trees, did a yellow wash in the background, and added more pigments and tones to indicate the warmth of Fall’s beauty.

This was one of my first experiments with nature paintings in this phase of my creativity. This would look absolutely spectacular with a custom wood frame.
