Embracing the End of Summer
Farewell, Summer, my favorite season :~)
We took a quiet weekend to rest, spend time in nature, and take Bryan swimming in many bodies of water. Our little family of three.
Bryan swims and explores a lake hidden within the mountains, a serene moment of her just being and enjoying
There’s a lot I learn from her. She truly loves BEING. She appreciates, embraces, and soaks in every moment of goodness wholeheartedly.
We were lucky to have a quiet empty shoreline to ourselves. We each took a moment to be with our own thoughts and to connect with nature in our own ways. Watching her fill her heart with love brings me deep fulfillment.
I’m still learning how to balance interdependency - a la codependency healings. I do think Bryan’s presence in my life has allowed me a safe, healthy, and appropriate place for learning how to moderate codependent tendencies.
Preparing for the season’s change.
Year 5 of living in Portland, and I’m finally embracing the shift from summer to Fall? What? This Cali girl can evolve! I’m learning how to create this seasonal ritual transition with P&B, how to soften the shift, and move with nature.
Looking fwd to cozy, inward, introspection season to begin!
